Burnham-on-sea Issue 1
Hi Dave.
Just to say found your site whilst browsing various BL sites. We are owners at Burnham on Sea, and find your site very interesting. We at Burnham were told we could not have and they would not recognise any form of owners association at Burnham on Sea, even as far as a threat to ask any that do form an association to leave! This came about because of caravans being moved for landscaping work to be done and owners being told that they would have to upgrade to stay when there section was landscaped. We have also spent the year at home after having our vans(3) removed from pitch for being accused of something we did not do, we just had the results from the association of arbitrators to say BL were wrong and we were right! Just shows and let others know keep to fighting they find them self's on the wrong side of BL. we had the long process of writing to directors of BL, then the BHH&PA, then the holiday caravan arbitration scheme. Seams like from your post bag BL are heavy handed on most sites, they seam to hope that people wont put up a fight just go along not wanting trouble or to leave.
We only live up the road in Bournemouth, maybe come and visit one day. I believe you now have our old complex manager, Richard, don't know how you all get on with him but we found him ok, he was just in the unfortunate position of being in the middle of management and us.
Many Thank

Issue 2
Hi Dave.
Do you know of any Solicitors (or know any one who does) local to Poole who have experience with dealing Bourne Leisure or Holiday home trade? We if you remember are the family from Burnham on Sea, and our situation has now gone from bad to much worse.
We took our case to the BHH&PA the to arbitration, arbitrators found in our favour and told Burnham to put our vans back on pitch (they even admitted that one should not have been removed in the first place, as it was owned not by us but my father) . This was back in September and they still have not done anything and we have been told that we need to take them to court to enforce the arbitrators decision. We have also just been informed that over the Christmas break two of our vans have been vandalised and they have told us as they were not on pitch they are not insured! We are going up today (Sunday 4th) to take photos.
We have approached a couple of solicitors but they seem to think we need someone with experience of the industry.
BL are even asking for 2004 site fees when they had 2003 and the vans were not even on pitch!!!
