On the request by the lady who took Bourne Leisure to court from Littlesea I have removed her letter as Bourne Leisure threatened to take out an injunction against her if it was not removed.
YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF B.L.’S BULLY BOY TACTICS
Should any owner have any legal problems just e-mail me and I will give you details of her solicitors, who apparently have done a good job.
On the above subject I have received an e-mail from the manager of the above park requesting that I remove the item as things have changed at Littlesea . New management and staff. Lo and behold the very next day I received the following e-mail;
I have a caravan that I bought from Bourne Leisure at Littlesea. I have not been happy with their letting service and the 'income' I received from this or the sales, the lies and now the idea that I should accept a third of the money if I sell the now year old caravan back to them, having been told that the caravan would depreciate by as much as £3000 in the first year during the sales pitch last April.
Naturally I need to look at my options. I don't wish to lose so much. I will look at moving the caravan, selling it myself or with the help of an estate agent and letting it out privately. If you have any ideas of where I can voice my complaints or with the options available to me I would greatly appreciate this. I suspect that I am in a no win situation.
Sadly my eyes were opened to the tactics of Bourne Leisure about a month after I had made the purchase. I felt stupid then to have trusted their answers and now I am experiencing the financial ramifications.
Best wishes
i am an owner at littlesea and have recently recieved a letter from them detailing the rates for the club passes for private owners guests. in the brochure it is stated that the price for passes is up to £92 in peak season.
our letter states that this is up to £118. the brochure price at devon cliffs and the other larger park is £112 and littlesea has nowwhere near the amount of facilities these have so really there is no justification for this
charge. they have also introduced a key handling charge of £2.50 for every time they hand the key over to our guest this stinks especially as our keys are handled no differently to the companys guests. i have emailed the
holiday sales manager and recieved no reply so we phoned and she tried to say that we were the only ones who had complained about this issue when we know for a fact that other owners have complained also she has tried to say
that this is how it has always been done but we have club forms and brochures going back to 1995 and this is definately not the case. can anyone shed any light on this subject from any other parks to see if this is the case on all parks or just littlesea.
I have stayed at littlesea and I saw an family arrive in a hobby caravan ,I introduced
myself because they were in the next pitch to me ,I found out the family was from
Manchester and the wife was english as was her son (12) and the man ( a gentleman
)was Irish who has lived in England for 40 years ,the wardens ( jan ) come over to
me and said they are travellers keep away from them ,blah blah blah ,it became very
clear the wardens with the manager and other staff was very racist against Irish
people ,I complained to the manager ( peter) about racist remarks made by jan and
other staff members ,I was told to keep my mouth closed or I would be evicted from
the camp ,he said we English should stick together ,I have in all my life never seen
such racism at a holiday park like this before ,it makes me ashamed to be British
,I will never stay at any Haven sites again ,its run by mafia tactics ,they are very
over priced and staff are not very nice .........
