David can you please report to owners how our competition went.
The weather was very kind during the 2 days.
The format of the 2 days were 8 teams of 3, playing 7 games of 5 ends, in the form of a league, with the winners winning by 1 point. The winners were Charles Windsor, Shirley Malzard and Reg Malzard.
Next years competition will be held on the first Saturday and Sunday in September.
During the year we intend having more bowls matches against clubs on the first Sunday of the month. Those who are interested in joining in please can you contact Ray Whittaker. Phone 01865 777367 with your names and phone numbers so he can keep you informed of the times of the games. He will need to find out how many people are interested so please contact him as soon as possible today will do.
Ray is not interested if you have not bowled before as he will arrange to give instructions.
