My name is Anthony Dowd (you know who I am Bourne Leisure). We bought a caravan on Cala Gran (private sale) and had severe problems with staff not returning calls and e-mails, lying to us etc. After threatening Bourne Leisure with publicity they agreed to give buy it off us. As the cheque had not been cashed, the Manager told me to cancel it - which I did. Cala Gran then tried to withold the money from the seller by stating I had cancelled the cheque, and therefore the sale. We had to pay for alternative holidays, but despite letters to the Managing Director of Bourne Leisure, we have not even had a reply.
My advice to anyone - DO NOT BUY FROM BOURNE LEISURE. I also had a problem with Marton Mere, including being threatened with violence.
We nearly bought a caravan from Marton Mere (private sale) but were given 3 different prices for site fees each time we asked. We had a struggle to get our deposit back. I was threatened with violence which involved me reporting the matter to the police. The response of the Managing Directore of Bourne Leisure....no response to my 3 letters. High handed and arrogant. Typical Bourne Leisure. At the same time, we had bought a caravan on Cala Gran and had severe problems and lies by sales staff.

We need some guidance as to where we start to sell our van..........
Just got back from speaking to someone on site and am horrified at the ridiculous low price they believe we will achieve if we sell

We are having problems getting a buyer for our van at burnham on sea it is only four months old when we bought it they said it would hold its value as it had d/g and c/h now they say because it is a van made for them traders will only give us about !£500 (it cost £29800 when new) any advice would be much appreciated Karen
We currently own a van which is 3 years old and which we are looking to sell. Unfortunately, the price that Rockley has offered to us is quite a lot less than we were hoping for.
Are you able to give us any useful advise on where else we could advertise to get a better price and how we go about selling privately.

This is the question for you members we are wanting to sell our caravan but the price we have been offered will not even pay off the finance we owe, does anyone know of a way of getting an independent valuation and a realistic price. We have had a very bad experience of owning a caravan at craig tara and i would not advise anyone to buy a caravan at any bourne leisure park. Thank you a worried owner.
