Hello Dave

We have a new caravan at Rockley Park, we swapped our old 2 in for it and have decided to only let during school holidays. DEFINITELY NOT to Bourne Leisure. They pay you a lot less than you could get yourself, let their guests wreck and break things, fix them without informing us and charge an absolute fortune for doing it!!! Then wonder why I complained at them and refused to pay. It was their guests who broke the shower, and I expect them to fix it.

They send their cleaners in (sometimes) and they don’t know HOW to clean obviously from the state they leave it in.

The cleaners at Rockley Park are appauling …. They wouldn’t know something was clean if it smacked them in the face – we have now taken on a private cleaner on the park who seems wonderful and has extremely high standards (If anyone else needs this contact please let me know, I am happy to give her your details so she can get in touch).

The ONLY way to get any satisfaction on this site is to completely do everything yourself, dealing with the after sales team just winds you up and leaves you feeling uptight and annoyed, it got to the point we didn’t visit in the end as it was such a bad experience at first. Since then they have had a change round and things seem to be a bit better, we deal mainly with Anna king, she has been very good sorting things out that others seemed to keep ignoring…. If people are having serious trouble make a complaint to her and she is usually very good.

Any owners we have bumped into have been disgusted with Rockley Parks aftersales. I am still complaining to head office about things that are outstanding. Myhusband went into the sales office on their bussiest day and shouted “Don’t buy here, they take your money and then ignore you completely”, I’m sure it cost them a lot of explaining and there were an awful lot of red faces with the sales teams! Hahahaha They deserved it.

 

 

Hi Dave,

The park seems very fresh the start of this season. I like the new facade of the Showbar outside, and the new kids play area and crazy golf looks great, with a chance to have a coffee and watch the kids at the same time. Dont know what happened to the accoustics inside the showbar, they still seem the same, but had a good owners party to start off with. The food was commented on by our guests as better than last year, and the group was one of their better ones with something for everyone. Shame about Tom Jones though.

Hopefully things will not deteriorate. The new manager wasn't very noticeable though, he didnt even get up on stage and say hello, maybe he's shy.

 

hi dave ,ime barry ,got a static at lakeside chichester,was run by cinque ports until they sold to graphite ..i have spoken to a few people on site about your offer of putin on rockley site .they are frightened to do and say anything,,ile keep in touch .thanks mate ,,baz ,,,barry ,,i dont care or worry about owners ,i will say and what i want,,loads of changes going on on this site .but not in favour of the owners .baz from msn site

 

Bourne Leisure have just aquired Far Grange Park at Skipsea and we have been assured that nothing will change, but after reading your messages i'm very worried, do the site fees go up by £500 per year Far Grange is already a costly site this will cripple most people, please give us some information on Bourne Leisure and their tactics.

I am an owner at Devon Cliffs and have just read your web site - I wish I had seen it a year ago!
Without going into further details (so not to bore you) can you please advise how I can attempt to sell my 2006 Willerby Salisbury - it has 3 beds and is
currently on pitch TW74.
I have been very disappointed with Bourne Leisure and have not renewed my site fees this year. I have no idea how much it is worth but would be happy to just
clear the finance at £22,500.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated so I can put this saga behind me. If you need any good
'bad' publicity I can furnish you with letters once I have sold the unit.
