Hi I am an owner of a caravan on a Haven site and I am having problems selling my caravan privately.
Bourne Leisure are making all kind of demands which we were not told about when we bought the caravan a few years back and we want to get some legal advice.
I have been googling to get info about anyone in the same boat as us who have successfully taken on B.L and came accross your site.
I would be grateful if you could give me the details of the solicitors you mention with regard to a lady owner from Littlesea (see below)

We have had a home on Rockley since 1998 (AV 42) after using it when the wife's brother had it and subsequently taking over from him. We replaced it 2003 and were quite satisfied.

We had a gas test on Tues 11th September. When our friends arrived on Saturday 15th they opened the door to find a "mobile oven" as the heating and gas rings had been left full-on since the Tuesday. The melamine on all the doors and shelving had lifted off with the heat and the carpet had blistered, a great deal of damage was done.

We were told that the gas tester had admitted that he had forgot to turn off all the appliances and was very sorry!

We were informed by the very helpful Linda, that our insurance would cover all the damage and the fitter would cover any excess. I listed all that was visibly damaged but was unable to determine whether any other serious damage may have occured without stripping out the furniture and fittings.

I would like to gain the professional advice of someone who could asses the damage before agreeing to any settlement and would be grateful for any contacts you may be able to give us.

I have been an owner now for 20 years, and am also a member of the assocciation. I have recently written a letter to G Plant, and would loike to send a copy to the association for their information. Could you please provide me an address which I can send the copy to.
