Hi there,
I was directed to your web-
I own a caravan at California Cliffs, Scratby, Norfolk .. very close to Caister-
I don't know of an owners group although there may well be on so, I am asking advice
on how to set up a similar oert of web-
Apparently, I don't know how true this is but, BL and Park Resorts are joined/linked/ in partnership or something.
I very nearly got hooked in at Rockley Park last year, but now I see that I had a very lucky escape.
Take it easy,
Hi
We have a caravan on Arne View and was wondering if any one has had a gas meter fitted and wether they found it more economical to use, we only used our caravan for 65 day this year and have received a large bill, does any one know if it is better to have a meter fitted.
I have read with interest with regards to the costs of owning a caravan. My advise
to anyone would be not to buy -
I have been trying to sell my caravan at Devon Cliffs for over a year to no avail due to site fees putting people off, and bourne will only give me £3000 but advised me to sell for £22000!! I saw that someone managed to find a site that would take their static. Can you let me know how I can find a site that will take static caravans not bought from the site owner. I am desperate to move off the site but am stuck there
we have just phoned up littlesea for the prices for passes when we privately let
out.
seeing as this year the parks are in bands 1, 2 and 3 with 1 being the likes
of devon cliffs and hafan, 2 littlesea rockley and others and band 3 being the smaller
parks like quay west.
our passes this year for a 3 bed in peak season is 130 on our
forms and only 104 in the brochure
would like to know other owners views on this
and what you are being charged and if anyone knows the reasoning behind this i am
getting to head office tomorrow (16th jan) to see what they come up with because
its not as if our guests get anything extra. so i will let you know how i get on
I was considering buying a caravan on one of the lovely looking sites and thought I would get some information, firstly from the owners forum.
I have now changed my mind as it seems that caravan owners have no rights and the site owners can do what they like.
I seems that many caravan owners have lost a lot of money with the considerable heartache and aggravation that goes with it. This is very different from the glossy brochures showing everything as lovely. I was a bit suspicious when the park keep advertising, my thought being that if it is so lovely why are there caravans and spaces available.
So thats it, end of a small dream, shame really, I was looking forward to all the broches show, especially in my retirement. Good luck to all present owners, don't let the b******'s grind you down.
