Hi There,
I was browsing through the Web to try and find some advice.I came across
this site and I must say I was delighted to see that some folk do stand up to these
Park Owners. In the six years we have been on this Park ChurchPoint,Newbiggin-
At a higher price than shops(they
have to have thier bit). Now Sheds must be CREAM METAL and you guessed?Purchased only
through the Park Owners!!At a cost of £400....I have reported this to OFT who hopefully
will stop this sort of activity.Caravan Owners were sent a letter(but not everyone)some
do not return until March some are abroad so no chance they will get a letter. This
letter lists a few things to be changed one of these being The Removal of All Plastic
sheds.
The Letter was received by many Caravan Owners on the 18th Jan notifying them
that a Skip will be brought on Site for the disposal of said sheds by the 31st Jan!
Thirteen days notice! If not complied with..The sheds and the contents be removed
and thrown in the Skip.I have never heard of such Harrassment, Intimidation and Threatening

Hello,
I would firstly like to introduce myself, my name is ????????, and I currently own a caravan on Brooklyn Park in Southport. The owners, Harrison Leisure, own 4 caravan sites, Riverside, Royal Umpire, Wild Rose and of course Brooklyn.
At the moment we are in dispute with Harrison Leisure over several matters, which include major price increases in site fees; the taking away of facilities (they demolished the on site club); the issue of decking only being supplied by one supplier; the electricity being charged at what we believe is too high a resale rate, etc etc.
Because of all these issues 3 of us got together and decided to form a committee and at the moment it is very successful. We have 92% of the caravan owners who have joined and we have, through the BH&HPA, been able to keep the site fees at last years amount until an agreement can be made. We have decided to take this to the next level and are awaiting the outcome. All other issues are also being addressed by the Trading Standards.
The reason I have contacted you, and given a brief overview of the situation, is that I am currently putting together a website and I would be grateful if you could let me know about the legal implications. Is there anything I am not allowed to put on the website? We have an issue with the office manager but I have not named him or his wife, I have just written B.. and J.... Am I ok to rename them "Harrison None Leisure" and can I give information about the selling techniques (the sales team have been telling prospective buyers the site is going to 52 residential, when it isn't) even though I have only got this information second hand?
Any pointers in the right direction would be most grateful. We were a happy bunch of caravan owners until this dispute and although we may never get this back we feel it is worth a try.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Yours sincerely
Hi Dave, Thank you for the advice and of course the name "Harassing Leisure" which
went down a storm and of course we adopted. We now have a website www.brooklyn-
